The DIY MINI

During the pandemic and supply chain crisis, we had a lot of time on our hands and a lot of things we couldn’t get our hands on—PS5’s, furniture…even MINIs. For a lot of people that meant testing their DIY skills. For MINIacs, MINI’s die-hard owner community, that meant pushing DIY to its most extreme limits.

To announce a return to normal production, we invented a fake (but entirely plausible!) trend, and nipped it in the bud.
